I could not be more proud of Imperio Magic and his performance at the Maryland 5-Star, CCI3-L. We had really worked on his fitness, and it really paid off. This is a phenomenal 7 yr old for the future. He won the National Young Horse Championship and Finished 6th. Now onto 2022!!
We got to go up to Virginia to compete at Great Meadow. It was a beautiful track and both of the horses exceeded my expectations. I ran them slow because I didn't feel like they were at the fitness or experience level needed for the terrain. Imperio Magic finished 25th and CSF Dassett Decoy 30th in a huge field of talented horses.
After a long break away from the Intermediate level, I finally got to return to it with CSF Dassett Decoy this weekend. While it was not the result I was hoping for, it was great to be back out there!! I was so excited to be winning after Show jumping and then, as eventing will do, I learned on cross country day that we have a lot of homework to do. Anyway while completing is never my goal, I did end the day with a better and more confident horse. Here's to next season and getting it all sorted!! Imperio Magic won his OT division and When in Rio was 3rd in the OT. They both were absolute super stars pf the future this weekend. Taylor Sherman was 7th in her TR. Deb Grosenbaugh was 7th in her ON. Tiffany Stewart won her BNR on Crimson Clover. Congratulations to all!!
After an incredibly wet weekend we were very lucky to get to complete the horse trials!! CSF Dassett Decoy was excellent and finished 3rd in the OP. Imperio Magic won the OT division. I cannot express how impressed I am with this young horse. I'm so excited to see where we go together! Taylor Sherman was 10th in the OT division. AMelia Grubbs and When in Rio were 3rd in the ON, Deb Grosenbaugh and Shrodinger's Kitten 4th, Callan Littrell was 5th in their SNR divsion.
A huge Congratulations to all of the TCE ladies and their horses!! You all had wonderful weekends. Deb Grosenbaugh's Starry Night won his NH championship. Jenny Brinkleyand Guinness were 2nd in her NR Championship, Tiffany Stewart and Crimson Clover won their BNR Championship. MAry Carol Harsch and Theodore al Coda were 5th in their BN Horse Championship. Imperio Magic was 2nd in his TH division. Taylor Sherman completed her first Training with her horse FGF DynaSmart. Callan Littrell won her NH division.
CSF Dassett Decoy completed our first CCI2*S together this weekend. He was fabulous. Some costly time on cross country left us in 27th, but I am so excited about this little horse's future!! A Touch of Natal is coming into his own with a win in his ON division. He has gotten so much stronger and is such a quality horse. I am so excited to get to help produce this star for Tiffany Stewart!!
Tryon did not disappoint this weekend. The courses were amzing, and we all had a wonderful time competing there. CSF Dassett Decoy was 4th in the OP. Imperio Magic won the ON, Starry Night finished 4th and Touch of Natal was 10th in that division. Mary Carol Harsch finished 2nd on her pony Foster's Bold Favorite, Jenny Brinkley was 4th on Guinness, and Taylor Sherman was 8th in their NR division. Mary Carol Harsch and Theodore al Coda won their BN, Tiffany Stewart and Crimson Clover was 3rd, and Deb Grosenbaugh and Schrodinger's Kitten was 6th. Congratulations to everyone!!
The weekend was a very good one for TCE. So proud of Callan Littrell for her win in the OBN. Her horse was not the easiest this weekend and she hung in there!! It was also a great weeknd for the rest of the crew. Imperio Magic won his second novice. Dasssett Decoy moved up to Modified and was super. Time kept him out of the top 5, but I was thrilled with him. Tiffany Stewart's A Touch of Natal was 9th after an unfortunate release of 20 dressage tests that blew all over the place during his dressage test. He still got a 33 with all of that!! Tiffany Stewart also placed 4th in her BN with Crimson Clover. Amelia Grubbs had a great first show with her new horse Cooley On The Con. An unfortunate rail kept her out of the ribbons in a very competitive Open Novice division. Now onto the next one!!
